Frequently asked questions
Do I need a diagnosis?
No. If you are waiting for a diagnosis, or if pursuing one doesn’t feel like the right decision for you right now, ADHD coaching can still be helpful as long as you self-identify with ADHD.
How does ADHD coaching differ from therapy?
Therapy focuses on insight and healing. ADHD coaching helps you turn insight into practical, everyday action.

How long will I need an ADHD coach before I start seeing results?
It varies for each client. Some people come with a specific issue and only want a few sessions, while most find they need around 6–8 sessions to implement meaningful, real-life change.
After around eight sessions, we would review your progress and decide together what makes sense next.
The aim of my work is to help you develop a way of working through new challenges as they arise. ADHD coaching is typically time-limited, rather than an ongoing relationship like some therapy can be.
How often should I see an ADHD coach?
Generally, fortnightly sessions work best. Some people choose to start with a few weekly sessions to gain momentum and then move to fortnightly to allow time to implement changes in between.
